Our PTA strives to provide a strong link between the teachers, staff, families, and community that surrounds MWE. We work to help provide an interactive learning experience for all students.

Presale purchases will be ready for pickup on October 15th from 3-4pm or 6-7pm in the MWE Car Rider Driveway.

Volunteer at Carnival

We need VOLUNTEERS!!  Each booth will require 1-2 volunteers per shift to make things run smoothly.  Each CLASS will be assigned to a booth this year.  Please review the sign-up genius link to volunteer.

Donate Stuffed Animals

Donate gently used stuffed animals for the "Pet Shop".  Drop off at 14419 Cindywood by October 10th.

Donate Unopened Toys and Games

Donate any new and unopened toys or games that are sitting in your closet collecting dust for the Prize Room.  Drop off at 14418 Broadgreen Drive by October 10th.

FAQ:

Question: When is the Carnival?

Answer: Friday, October 17th. 4pm-7pm. It will be an inside and outside event at Meadow Wood Elementary held rain or shine.

Question: What’s a ticket?

Answer: 1 ticket = $1. Tickets cover things like: Pizza, Sno Cones, Cotton Candy, Snacks, Dunk Tank, Silly String, Pet Shop, Face Paint and some games. Raffle Prizes are also available to place your tickets.

Question: How many tickets do I buy?

Answer: See below for a sample of some of the games and their ticket pricing:

Plus, Carnival Prize Drawing Room - an assortment of toys, games, or electronics. You have the opportunity to put an unlimited number of tickets into the drawing for a specific item you might want to win.

Question: What food will be offered on site?

Answer: We are offering pre-purchased Chick-Fil-A sandwich and nugget meals as part of the pre-sale.  You do not need to pre-purchase prior to eat day of for the following food options at the Carnival:

Question: Can I buy more tickets and wristbands after the online window closes?

Answer: Yes! We will have tickets booths set up to purchase more tickets and unlimited inflatables wristbands at the carnival. These lines are very long with record highs of 700 people attending this event. Try to pre-purchase on the front end during the online sales window to avoid waiting.

Question: What does the $25 Unlimited Inflatables Wristband get me?

Answer: For the Inflatables area you will need a wristband.  No tickets will be taken.  The good news is that your child can have unlimited fun in this area and there will be inflatables for the littles as well. New this year, some games are also included in the wristband along with NEW attractions such as our Ride Along Train, and Tri Cycle Race Track.

Question: Will I have to be present for or stay really late waiting to hear the prize room winners?

Answer: This year we will only announce the biggest prizes at EagleFest.  The list of winners for these prizes and the rest will be sent after EagleFest (Friday night) via social media and GroupMe plus we will call/text the number on the ticket.  Prizes must be picked up Saturday morning (October 18th) from 9-11 AM at MWE.  Some other rules for the prize room drawings this year:

• All Prize Drawing tickets must be dropped in boxes by 6:30pm at EagleFest
• Name and phone number must be legible to win
• Tickets must be individual (not still connected)

Question: Who can go to the carnival?

Answer: It’s a family affair, open to your entire crew. The carnival will be set up with food for adults, students, and little siblings. We will have many activities onsite that will be < PreK4 children to enjoy.

Meadow Wood Elementary PTA ("MWE PTA") invites you to support our school, staff and students by giving financially through the BIG FORM.  MWE PTA bridges the gap between limited state funding and the high-level education every child deserves, spending $516k annually to support ~680 children. While the district provides just $65 per student, MWE PTA spends an additional $759 per child to fund programs, teacher salaries, and enrichment activities—far beyond the school’s allocated $45k annual budget.
