Welcome to the Meadow Wood Elementary PTA Web Page!

Our PTA strives to provide a strong link between the teachers, staff, families, and community that surrounds MWE. We work to help provide an interactive learning experience for all students.

Please browse our website and become familiar with the ways you can support MWE. We hope you will become a member of our PTA, as well as support our organization by participating in PTA programs, volunteering your time, and giving financially!

The PTA is thrilled to introduce the Children’s Holiday Gift Store to MWE!

The week after Thanksgiving students will have the chance to shop at school for thoughtful gifts for family and friends — and even wrap their purchases! This fun and meaningful experience helps children build real-life budgeting and shopping skills while discovering the joy of giving.

Gifts range from $0.50 to $14, with the majority priced at $4.75 or below.

Please remember to load their eWallet or send cash on their library day. Note any funds remaining on your eWallet after the Shop closes will not be refunded.

We’re also looking for volunteers to help bring the store to life. Sign up for a 2-hour shift — you won’t want to miss the holiday cheer!

How can You help MWE Families this holiday season? This year, Ali Smith, MWE PTA Community Relations, Garrett Wolf, MWE CIS Counselor and Stephanie Hruzek, Executive Director for FamilyPoint Resources (FPR) have partnered to identify the best ways to help MWE Families in need this holiday season.  Please see below for how you can help.

1. Bring breakfast items to the MWE Lobby between now and morning drop off Friday, November 21st such as just add water pancake mix, cereal, protein bars and shelf stable milk (strawberries, apples and oranges too if Friday drop off).  MWE families in need will be receiving Kroger gift cards from PTA and breakfast kits for the week of break.

2. Attend the FPR Annual Thanksgiving Feast. Families are invited to bring a dish (nut-free) or lead activities in an effort to build relationships within our community. Event is after school Friday, November 21st from 3-5pm.

3. Donate to the FPR Christmas Store by December 12th.  Garrett, our CIS Counselor, is extending invitations to any MWE family in need who does not currently participate at FPR. FPR 2025: 2025 FPR Christmas Gifts Donations

4. Volunteer at the FPR Christmas Store on December 13th. FPR 2025: 2025 FPR Christmas Store Day of Volunteers.  There are ways to serve together as a family at events this holiday season. For more information on how you can be there with your children, reach out to Ali Smith at (281) 787-5660.
